Terms of Purchase

These terms are written in plain language on purpose. By purchasing The Letter, you agree to them.
1. What The Letter is, and is not
The Letter is a personal, interpretive piece of writing based on the favorite films you share with me. It reflects my perspective and my method. It is offered for reflection and personal insight only. If you are in crisis or need professional support, please seek it from a licensed professional. Nothing in The Letter should be used to make medical, psychological, legal, or financial decisions.
2. No promised outcomes
I promise you my full attention, my honest eye, and a Letter written for you alone. I do not and cannot promise any particular feeling, realization, change, or result. What you see in the mirror, and what you do with it, is yours.
3. What you give me, and how I use it
To write your Letter, I collect your email, your favorite films, and anything you choose to tell me. I use this only to write and deliver your Letter and to contact you about your order. Your email is added to my mailing list, which you can leave at any time with one click. I do not sell or share what you tell me. What you write to me is treated as private.
4. Testimonials
I will only share words about your experience if you have said yes to the consent question, and only anonymously unless we agree otherwise in writing.
5. Delivery
Letters are written one at a time, in the order received. Your Letter arrives by email within 1 to 3 weeks after you send me your films. The clock starts when your films arrive, not at purchase. If I ever cannot deliver your Letter, you receive a full refund.
6. Refunds
Each Letter is made to order for one person, so there are no refunds after delivery. If something goes wrong before your Letter is written, email me and we will make it right, up to and including a full refund.
7. Your Letter is yours, the method is mine
Your Letter belongs to you, for your personal use, forever. Share it with whoever you love. What you may not do is republish it commercially, resell it, or present my writing or method as your own. The Get Out The Trap name, method, and materials remain mine.
8. Who can purchase
You must be 18 or older to purchase The Letter.
9. Limits
To the fullest extent the law allows, my total liability for anything related to The Letter is limited to the amount you paid for it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
